Considering a forum link building service — what should I demand so it stays white-hat?
I’m debating whether to hire a forum link building service, but I’m cautious. I don’t want someone blasting low-quality posts, burning accounts, or leaving a footprint that screams “paid campaign.” I’m fine with slow growth and nofollow/UGC links if it’s legit and drives real discussion/traffic.

If you’re hiring it out, the #1 thing to demand is a “value-first” posting standard in writing. I’d ask for examples of full replies they’ve posted (not just a list of URLs) and proof they understand moderation rules and link gating. A good forum link building service should be able to show how they build credibility in a community before linking, and how they handle situations where links are not allowed yet.
